When should a student move into competitive coding?

A student does not need to know every language first. More important signals are comfort with core programming concepts, willingness to debug independently, and genuine interest in solving problems where efficiency matters.

If the student mainly wants to build games, apps, robotics or creative projects, Coding Foundations is usually the better fit. Competitive Coding is for students who specifically enjoy algorithmic challenge.
